Born in Perth, and having studied in Edinburgh, Dundee, and Glasgow, Magnus Jamieson currently stays in the East end of Glasgow. He graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physics from Heriot-Watt University in 2014 and completed an MSc in Energy, Water, and Environmental Management from the University of Abertay Dundee in September 2015 where his interests particularly concerned the challenges facing renewable energy in the Highlands and Islands. He now attends Strathclyde University and Imperial College London, studying Future Power Networks and the Smart Grid.
Magnus was a contributor to National Collective during the independence campaign, is a member of the Scottish National Party in Strathtay & Dunkeld, and is also a member of Unite the Union. His interests include environmentalism, energy markets, electricity networks, renewable energy technologies, and social justice.
